Why wait for braces?

If your child is on a HSE waiting list for braces there is no need to wait. Trasna is a new Irish Healthcare service helping you use your EU entilement to access quality dental clinics in Northern Ireland.

We have a network of highly accredited clinics and can arrange an appointment straight away. We do not charge for our service.

How much will it cost?

Typically braces in Northern Ireland cost approximately £2,500 (Sterling). The HSE (through the EU Cross Border healthcare Directive) will reimburse £2,100 of the cost.

If your child is not on a HSE waiting list for braces they do not qualify for reimbursement.
